Everything fades to oblivion

Everything fades eventually, given time.

New feelings replace old feelings in an endless succession.

The best part, though, of being human is the ability to forget.

Or, at least, remember things differently.

Imagination is a powerful thing.

Up and down, twist and turn. Return.

We never actually start over, we just return to where we felt most comfortable. Or, at least, where we remember we were.

Memory is a wicked thing. Just like hope, love and other drugs.

Reality check! The present you are experiencing is only fully realizable in the near past.

Nothing hits you harder than the least expected past present. Damns you to hell and back.

Luckily, we are humans. Luckily, we do forget. Eventually.

The most comfortable thought is that everything fades into oblivion.
